Boarding in Lymm Village, this 3 hour return cruise will include afternoon tea consisting of freshly made sandwiches and a slice of savoury quiche, homemade scones served with Jam and Clotted Cream, a selection of homemade cakes and pastries, all served on a traditional tiered stand with tea or filter coffee. Yum!

Boarding is at the canal bank in the village centre, north bank of the canal on the Oughtrington side of The Cross bridge,

WA13 9DU.

Tickets for these cruises are priced at £22.00 for adults and £12.00 children (under 12)

What could be more relaxing at the end of the week than a cruise along the beautiful Bridgewater Canal whilst eating a 3 course dinner?

The cruise sets off at 6.30pm from the village centre for a 3 hour return cruise.

Garden pea and ham soup

Chef’s homemade soup served with a crusty roll and butter.


Goats cheese salad

Baked Goats Cheese on a bed of lettuce and fresh Beetroot dressed with pine nuts and basil .

Main course

Beef Wellington

Fillet of beef wrapped in wild mushrooms, Parma ham and puff pastry.


Wild Mushroom Gateau

Wild mushroom and pine nut pancakes layered and served with a blue cheese sauce.

Mains served with fresh asparagus and a side dish of garlic and herb roasted

new potatoes.


Raspberry and pistachio meringue roulade

Soft meringue filled with raspberries and pistachios garnished with a berry coulis


Chocolate brownie

Homemade chocolate fudge brownie served with vanilla cream and ginger caramel

Chefs homemade soup of the day served with a crusty roll and butter.


Prawn and Crayfish Cocktail

King prawns & crayfish tails combined in our own Marie rose sauce on a bed of fresh leaves served with a crusty roll & butter.

Main Course

Roast beef

Sirloin of roast beef served with roast potatoes, homemade Yorkshire puddings, cauliflower and cheese, seasonal vegetables and pan gravy.

Accompanied with a selection of condiments.


Wild mushroom and Gruyère cheese filo parcel (v)

Wild mushrooms and Gruyère cheese hand wrapped in crisp flaky filo pastry and brushed with butter for a golden finish. Served with seasonal vegetables, roast potatoes and a cream and white wine sauce.


Sticky toffee pudding

Chefs homemade sticky toffee pudding served with a butterscotch sauce and Crème anglaise


Lemon Posset

A classic english dessert served with handmade shortbread biscuits.
